Vitec® 3000 is a liquid antiscalant and dispersant compatible with organic coagulants.

Performance benefits

• Powerful against various scales, including:

  • Strontium Sulfate (SrSO₄)
  • Calcium Fluoride (CaF₂)

• Formulated with crystal modification properties to reduce fouling.
• Compatible with polyelectrolyte coagulants.
• Economical at low dose rates.
• Effective in a wide variety of feedwaters and pH ranges.

Operating limits

• Approved for use in systems producing drinking water in the UK (conforming to DIN 15040) and by NSF International under NSF/ANSI Standard 60.

Instructions for use

Injection

• Inject downstream of multimedia filters and upstream of cartridge filters.

Dosing

• Typical dose ranges from 2-5 mg/l.
• Site-specific doses can be determined using Avista Advisor software.

Dilution

• Formulated to be injected neat.
• If dilution is required, use deionized (DI) water or RO permeate. Softened water may be substituted if DI/RO is unavailable.
• Solution strength should not be less than 1%.
• DI-quality water must be used for dilutions below 10%.
