Description

Belclene 287 is a chemical designed for formulators as an alternative to polyacrylate-based calcium carbonate antiscalants for Kraft pulp operations.

Application

Specifically intended for use in Kraft pulp continuous digesters to mitigate calcium-based scale formation, which can lead to increased cleaning costs and unscheduled downtime. Areas prone to calcium carbonate scale include:

• Chip chute screen
• Extraction screens
• Cooking heaters
• In-line drainer
• Cooking screens
• Digester shell
• Top separator
