Summary
Product identification
Belgard® EV2050 is a high-performance liquid antiscalant for controlling scaling and particulate fouling in single and multiple effect spray film evaporators. It is based on polycarboxylic acid chemistry.
Application
Belgard EV2050 is effective against calcium carbonate scales and has dispersant activity for suspended foulants in the brine film. It also provides protection against calcium sulphate deposition during operating parameter excursions.
Belgard EV2050 is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for use in distillation plants producing potable water.
Benefits
This product is designed to provide improved control of fouling, reducing the frequency of cleaning and associated costs due to its enhanced scale control and dispersant properties.
Usage
Consult with a BWA Water Additives representative for optimal dosage recommendations.
