PermaClean PC-33 is based on organic chelants and surfactants.
Usage
Designed for use as a cleaning compound in RO systems.
Dosage and Feeding
- Dosage should be recommended by a Nalco representative based on specific system conditions.
- Cleaning time depends on the amount of fouling.
- Always use as recommended by the membrane manufacturer regarding cleaning pH and temperature.
- Should be fed via a closed system, defined as a system where fluid moves from a closed storage vessel to a treated medium without atmospheric exposure, except through normal venting or pressure relief devices.
- Thorough flushing is required to remove residual cleaning product from membrane surfaces before returning the system to service.
Materials Compatibility
- Suitable for storage and application equipment: PVC, PE, Teflon, Stainless Steel.
- Do not use with: Aluminum, Brass, Carbon steel in contact with the neat product.
Handling and Storage
- Use protective equipment such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling.
- Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet for official Environmental and Safety information.
- Can be stored for at least 12 months from the date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container under normal warehouse conditions.
- Protect from freezing and high temperatures.
