Usage and Handling
- Dosage: Your Nalco representative will recommend the optimum dosage based on specific system conditions. Cleaning time depends on the amount of fouling. Always use as recommended by the membrane manufacturer regarding cleaning pH and temperature.
- Feeding: Feed via a closed system (fluid moved from a closed storage vessel into treated media without atmospheric exposure, except through normal venting or pressure relief devices). Ensure thorough flushing to remove residual cleaning product before returning the system to service.
- Materials: Storage and application equipment (pumps and lines) should be made of PVC, PE, Teflon, or Stainless Steel. Do not use Aluminum, Brass, or Carbon steel in contact with the neat product.
- Handling Precautions: Use protective equipment such as goggles and rubber gloves. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet for Environmental and Safety information.
- Storage: Can be stored for at least 12 months from the date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and high temperatures.
