- Effective in a wide range of feedwater types and pH ranges.
- Operation: Threshold scale inhibition at low dosage rates for economical operation.
Application
- Injection Point: Downstream of multimedia filters and upstream of cartridge filters.
Dosing Guidelines
- Typical Dosage: 2 to 5 ppm.
- Site-Specific Dose: Determined using the Avista Advisor computer program.
- Caution: Over or underdosing may cause membrane system fouling.
Dilution
- Formulation: Designed to be injected neat.
- Dilution Water: If dilution is required, use demineralized water, RO permeate water, or softened water.
- Minimum Strength: Dilution should not result in a solution strength less than 1%.
- DI Water Requirement: DI quality water must be used for any dilutions below 10% to protect the internal bacteriostat.
