Product identification

RPI-2000 is a scale inhibitor specially designed for RO systems. It is a stabilized solution of low molecular weight sodium polyacrylates, free from phosphonates and phosphates.

Application and dosage

• Membrane compatibility: Approved for use with cellulose acetate and polyamide membranes. No interaction with membrane material.
• Dosage control: Proportional to feed water flow.
• Dilution: Can be diluted with water in any ratio, but injection undiluted or as a solution up to 10% is recommended. Diluted solutions must be consumed within 48 hours.
• Typical dosage: 1 – 10 ppm as delivered, depending on operating conditions and water composition.
• Handling: Easy to handle, no aggressive components, hydrolytically stable.
• Material compatibility for fitting: PE, PP, or coated steel.
• Container cleaning: To avoid biological fouling, containers should be cleaned periodically with a 10% sodium bisulphate solution.
