• Product Name: Scale Inhibitor ROPUR RPI-4000A
• Product Type: Stabilized solution of organic phosphonates with strong threshold effects.
• Intended Use: To inhibit scale formation in RO-systems equipped with polyamide, cellulose acetate, and polyether membranes with an anionically charged surface. Specially effective for calcium, barium, and strontium salts, including barium sulphate and strontium sulphate. Also stabilizes calcium hardness and iron.

Application and Dosage

• Membrane Compatibility: Approved for cellulose acetate and polyamide membranes. No interaction with membrane material.
• Injection: Controlled proportionally to feed water flow using standard metering pumps.
• Materials: Fitting materials: PE, PP, or coated steel.
• Dilution: Can be diluted with water in any ratio. Recommended to inject undiluted or as a solution up to 10%. Diluted solutions must be consumed within 48 hours.
• Dosage Range: 1 – 8 ppm (as delivered), depending on operating conditions and water composition.
• Handling: Easy to handle, no aggressive components. Slightly acidic pH.
• Container Cleaning: To avoid biological fouling, containers should be cleaned periodically with a 10% sodium bisulphate solution.
