Summary

Product identification

BEL GROUP offers customizable Reverse Osmosis Skids, designed as medium-sized packages for easy transport and integration. These skids are built to customer specifications, often utilizing multiport systems to optimize footprint, reduce piping, and lower welding and labor costs. Design and manufacturing take place at BEL's facility in Murcia, Spain.

Mechanical / hydraulic

The standard scope of supply for BEL's RO Skids includes:

  • Pressure vessels: Supplied according to the project design.
  • Skid frame: Manufactured from sandblasted Carbon Steel beams with a four-layer paint system:
    • First Layer: 70~75 μm Zinc Epoxy
    • Second and Third Layer: 70~75 μm Epoxy (chrome and lead-free)
    • Fourth Layer: 30 ~ 35 μm Polyurethane Epoxy (finishing layer)
  • High Pressure pipes (Feed & Concentrate):
    • For seawater systems: Super Duplex (PREN > 40)
    • For brackish water systems: Stainless Steel 316L
    • Includes feed and concentrate manifolds with Victaulic grooved pipes, to be assembled by others to the process skid (e.g., filtration, HP pumps, energy saving system, chemical cleaning).
    • Excludes any valves.
    • High pressure pipes are not subject to pressure testing as part of this scope.
  • Low Pressure pipes (Permeate outlet):
    • Permeate connections are PVC-U (or other specified material).
    • Includes 3-way valves at the permeate exit of each vessel and fittings for installing sampling pipes for permeate testing.
    • Sampling pipes are not included.
    • Permeate circuit undergoes a 6 bar pressure test.
  • Victaulic couplings: Provided for connections between headers and the vessels (feed & concentrate manifold).

The complete scope of supply is subject to discussion and customization based on customer requirements.
