This document describes the BEL8-E-1500 PSI RO PRESSURE VESSEL. It is an 8-inch end port pressure vessel designed for reverse osmosis applications.

Operating Limits

• Max. allowable working pressure: 1500 psi (103.4 bar)
• Permeate internal pressure not to exceed: 125 psi (8.6 bar)

Warning: Never pressurize a pressure vessel that was not loaded with membrane elements.

Mechanical / Hydraulic

• Feed/Concentrate Port: 1.5" VICTAULIC
• Permeate Port: 1.25" BSP-MALE (Permeate Ports Outlet)
• Body Diameter Concentrate: 45 mm (1.77 in)
• Support: 3 supports are required for length code -4 and over.
• Number of Membrane Elements: Vessels can accommodate 1 to 8 membrane elements.
• Dimensions: All dimensions are for reference only, not for construction unless certified. Drawing unit: mm (inches).
• Shimming:
  • For membranes shimming (if needed), use disk spacers (item 17 & 18) on the feed side of the vessels.
  • Saddles can be shimmed if required.
• Assembly: The vessel is supplied with two strap assembly.
• ASME Code: ASME code SEC. X, RP stamped vessels are available as an option (contact for pricing).
• Adapter Options:
  • Two Standard adapters
  • Standard & Solid (blind) adapter
• Color Options:
  • Standard: white (RAL 9010)
  • Other RAL numbers available (contact for pricing)
• Selectable Working Pressure Rates (PSI): 300, 450, 600, 1,000, 1,200, 1,500
