Summary
Product Identification
This document provides a detailed overview for Wila Membrane Housings, specifically the 'MHA-6-16' type, designed for low-pressure applications up to 16 bar. These housings are tubular pressure vessels with a single inlet (Feed), an unfiltered outlet (Retentate), and a filtered outlet (Permeate). They are primarily used in the food and beverage industry for Microfiltration (MF) and Ultrafiltration (UF) to reduce or eliminate microbials in liquid products like juice, beer, soy, whey, milk, and chocolate.
The housings are designed for 6.3” x 38” (6338) membranes. The membranes and Axial Thrust Discs (ATDs) are not included but Wila's hygienic, CIP-clean, stainless steel ATDs can be supplied upon request.
General Specifications
