Materials of Construction
The Membrane Housing is constructed from:
- EN 1.4404 stainless steel
- EN 1.4462 stainless steel
Surface Finish:
- Inside surface roughness: ≤ 0.8 µm
- Outside surface roughness: ≤ 1.6 µm
All fluid media used with the membrane housing must be compatible with both EN 1.4404 and EN 1.4462 Stainless steel.

The membrane housing is designed and manufactured in accordance with:
- European Commission regulation No. 2023/2006 (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- European Parliament directive No. EN 1935/2004 (Food Contact Materials)
- European Parliament directive No. EN 1907/2006 (Chemical Restrictions (REACH))
- PED - Article 4.3 (SEP) in the European Parliament directive No. 2014/68/EU (Pressure Equipment Directive), designed for fluid group 2 (non-dangerous fluids).
- PED - Category I and EN 13445 for both 5 and 6 element housings.
Mechanical / Hydraulic
The housings feature Tri-clamp connections for Feed, Retentate, and Permeate. For the 64 bar pressure rating, SH or SSH clamps are recommended. The housing should be installed with the Retentate outlet at the highest point for better air venting.
Dimensions and Specifications (all dimensions in millimeters, volume in liters, weight in kg)
The following specifications apply to both Model A and Model C for the respective element counts. "ID" refers to the internal diameter of the Permeate tube, which is Ø28.9 mm for all models. "TL" = Total Length, "HL" = Housing Length, "CL" = Clamp-to-Clamp Length, "IL" = Internal Length.
