Mounting

- Buildup: Use short installation sockets and maintain distance from expected buildup.
- Support: Required for severe dynamic loads. Maximum lateral loading capacity of pipe extensions and sensors: 75 Nm (55 lbf ft). For marine approval, support is needed at least every 1,600 mm for extensions/sensors longer than 1,600 mm.
- Weld-in adapter: Leakage hole must point downwards.
Installation
- Tools: Open-ended wrench, Allen key.
- Alignment: Use markings on the hexagonal nut or weld-in adapter, or the II symbol on the flange/Tri-Clamp.
- Pipes: Suitable for flow velocity up to 5 m/s with 1 mPa⋅s viscosity and 1 g/cm³ density.
- Screwing in: Turn only by the hex bolt; 15 to 30 Nm (11 to 22 lbf ft). Do not turn the housing.
- Cable entry alignment: Housing can be rotated up to 380° by loosening the securing screw (max 1.5 turns).
- Housing cover: Do not lubricate the thread; it is coated with lubricant varnish.
- Display module rotation: Switch off supply voltage before rotating. Can be rotated up to 4 × 90° in each direction.
Electrical connection
