Measuring Principle

The device uses a piezoelectric drive to excite a vibrating rod to its resonance frequency. If the medium covers the rod, its vibration amplitude changes (damps). The electronics compare this amplitude to a set value to indicate if the rod is vibrating freely or is covered by medium.

Measuring System

The Soliphant T is a compact electronic switch consisting of the Soliphant T unit (FTM20 or FTM21 with FEM22 or FEM24 electronic insert) and connection to a supply point and control systems.

Cable Specifications
