Installation Notes

• Pipe Diameter: Must be at least DN 100 when using bright materials (VA or similar).
• Sensor Placement: Install in areas with constant flow, avoiding air collection, foam formation, or suspended solids settling.
• Sensor Orientation:
  • Generally, orient the sensor surface against the medium flow for increased self-cleaning effects, especially in heavily soiled media with turbidities > 15 FNU.
  • Orient the sensor parallel to the medium flow to minimize wall reflection effects for turbidities < 5 FNU, or in conjunction with the spray head CUR 3.
• Horizontal Installation: If installed horizontally, orient the sensor at the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position to prevent air pockets.
• Mounting: Ensure the O-ring seals properly. Align the sensor's acute-angled edge opposite the marking hole and pointing away from it.
