Summary
Product identification
Liquiline System CAT810: Automatic sample preparation system for supplying process measuring devices with filtered samples from pressure pipes.
Application
The Liquiline System CAT810 enables the fully automatic collection and filtration of aqueous samples. It is designed for applications such as secondary clarification of communal and industrial purification plants, and for collecting aqueous samples from industrial processes.
Key Features & Benefits
- Automatic operation: Fully automatic collection and filtration of aqueous samples.
- Robust and reliable: Optional water or compressed air backflushing function for the filter.
- Simple and user-friendly: Control via a CA80 analyzer or a time control function.
- Easy maintenance: Removal of filter without using tools.
- Flexible and modular: Modular filter system and accessories for various installation conditions.
Functionality
The system utilizes static and dynamic pressure in the process bypass to drive the sample through a filter. The filtrate is then supplied to the collecting vessel of a downstream analyzer.
Control can be achieved through:
- Liquiline System CA80 analyzer: Enables automatic filter backflushing and configuration of backflush intervals.
- Time control system: Allows configuration of cleaning time and cleaning interval.
Measuring System Components
A complete sample conditioning system includes the Liquiline System CAT810 with filter, and may optionally include:
- Cleaning valve
- Vent valve
- Drain valve
- Mounting plate
- Sample hose to analyzer
Electrical
- Supply voltage: 100 to 120 V AC / 200 to 240 V AC, 50 or 60 Hz.
- Power consumption of optional cleaning valve: Max. 30 VA.
- Note: The device does not have a power switch. A protected circuit breaker must be provided by the customer.
Environment
- Ambient temperature range: +5 to +40 °C (41 to 104 °F)
- Storage temperature: -20 to +60 °C (-4 to 140 °F)
- Humidity: 10 to 95%, non-condensing
- Degree of protection: IP65
- Electromagnetic compatibility: As per EN 61326-1:2006, class A for industrial sectors.
- Electrical safety: IEC 61010-1, Class I equipment.
- Degree of contamination: Suitable for pollution degree 2.
Process
- Sample temperature: 4 to 40 °C (39 to 104 °F)
- Process pressure: 1.5 to 4.0 bar (21.76 to 58.01 psi)
- Pressure for optional automatic cleaning: 2.0 to 5.0 bar (29.0 to 72.5 psi); must be at least 0.5 bar (7.3 psi) greater than process pressure.
Mechanical Construction
- Dimensions: Various dimensions depending on the version (basic, with mounting plate, for analyzer stand). See the PDF for specific diagrams and measurements.
- Weight:
- Basic version: 1 kg (2.2 lbs)
- Installed on a mounting plate: 4 kg (8.8 lbs)
- Installed on a mounting plate with time control: 6 kg (13.2 lbs)
- Prepared for a CA80 analyzer stand: 2 kg (4.4 lbs)
- Materials:
- Parts not in contact with medium: PVC (Mounting plate)
- Parts in contact with medium: PVC (Pipes, Drain valve), PP (Cleaning valve), EPDM (Seal), PVC (Vent valve), Tangit (Glue).
Certificates and Approvals
- CE mark: Complies with EU directives.
- EAC: Certified according to TP TC 004/2011 and TP TC 020/2011 for the European Economic Area.
