  • Cooling system with forced-air cooling and protective finish.
  • Swift menu guidance, navigator, and large display.
  • Dual bottle trays for easy sample transportation.
  • Practice-oriented programs ranging from simple time programs to event programs.
  • Functionality can be extended by installing modular electronic components.
  • Integrated data logger for recording measured values.
  • Service interface for data transmission.

Operational Modes

The CSF34 can operate using either a vacuum pump or a peristaltic pump.

Vacuum Pump Operation (4 steps)

  1. Blow clear: Suction line is cleared.
  2. Intake: Sample is drawn into the dosing beaker until conductivity probes are reached.
  3. Dose: Excess sample liquid flows back to the sampling point.
  4. Drain: Sample is drained into the sample bottle.

Peristaltic Pump Operation (3 steps)

  1. Rinse: Suction line is rinsed by forcing medium back to the sampling point.
  2. Intake: Medium is drawn in; pump is controlled by flow.
  3. Drain: Pump forces medium back to the sampling point.

Sampling Control Methods

  • Time-proportional sampling (CTCV): Constant sample volume at regular intervals.
  • Volume-proportional sampling (VTCV): Constant sample volume at variable intervals based on inflow volume.
  • Flow-proportional sampling (CTVV): Variable sample volume at regular intervals (peristaltic pump only).
  • Event-controlled sampling: Triggered by an event, can be time, volume, or flow-paced.

Input

  • 2 analog inputs (0/4 to 20 mA)
  • 2 binary inputs (passive, 12 to 30 V)
  • Optional: additional 2 binary inputs
  • Optional: 1 to 4 digital inputs for sensors with Memosens protocol
