Measuring principle

The CPS96E sensor measures:

• pH: Utilizes a membrane glass electrode that generates a potential dependent on the medium's pH value, with an integrated Ag/AgCl reference system. The voltage is converted to pH using the Nernst equation.
• ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential): Measured using a platinum electrode, with an integrated Ag/AgCl reference system.
• rH: Calculated by simultaneously measuring pH and ORP. The rH value indicates the oxidizing or reducing power of a solution on a scale from 0 to 42.

Electrical

• Temperature Sensor: Integrated NTC 30K for temperature compensation.
