Measuring Principle
Inductive conductivity measurement using an oscillator, primary coil, induced current flow in the medium, secondary coil, and receiver to determine conductivity.
Advantages of Inductive Measurement:
- No electrodes, preventing polarization effects.
- Accurate measurement in heavily polluted media prone to buildup.
- Complete galvanic isolation between the measurement and the medium.
Key Features

- Certified Hygiene: FDA-listed materials for medium contact, 3-A standards certification, EHEDG certification (CLS54 sensor for cleanability), optional USP class VI biological reactivity testing with lot traceability.
- Process Connections: Available with commonly used hygienic connections, with custom options on request.
- Process Temperature & Pressure:
- Continuous temperatures up to 125 °C (257 °F).
- Temporary sterilization temperatures up to 150 °C (302 °F) (max. 60 minutes).
- Pressure resistance up to 12 bar (174 psi) abs at temperatures up to 90 °C (194 °F).
- Suitable for underpressure applications.
- Temperature Measurement: Integrated temperature sensor with response time t90 < 26 s. Embedded without seals for long service life.
- Temperature Compensation: Options include linear (user-configurable coefficient α), IEC 60746-3 (NaCl), and user-programmable coefficient tables (up to 10 elements).
- Concentration Measurement: Switchable from conductivity mode. Offers user-programmable and pre-programmed concentration curves (e.g., for CIP solutions), displaying concentration directly as %.
- Remote Parameter Set Configuration (MRS): Allows for measurement range switching, adjustment of temperature compensation, and switching between concentration curves.
- Device Versions: Available as compact or remote systems. Transmitter can be ordered separately.
