Measuring Principle
The TOC analyzer utilizes UV digestion to oxidize organic substances into CO₂. The resulting increase in conductivity due to the formation of hydrogen carbonate is measured by a pair of electrodes upstream and downstream of the UV radiation, which is then converted to TOC.
