The VACON® 20 AC drive is a compact drive available in a wide power range. It also features a VACON® 20 Cold Plate variant for enhanced cooling.

  • Ambient Operating Temperature: -10 °C to +50 °C for rated loadability. With specific options or drive sizes, the maximum ambient temperature is +40 °C.
    • Cold Plate models: -10 °C to +70 °C.
  • Storage Temperature: -40 °C to +70 °C.
  • Altitude: 100% load capacity up to 1000 m. Derating of 1% for each 100 m above 1000 m, maximum 2000 m. Cold Plate models: maximum 3000 m.

Electrical

  • Power Range: 0.25 kW to 18.5 kW (0.35 HP to 25 HP).

  • Harmonic Filtering: Drives with currents above 16A are available with a built-in harmonic filtering choke for public networks according to IEC61000-3-12.
  • Braking Torque: 100% x TN with brake chopper in 3-phase version sizes MS2-3, MI2-5. 30% x TN with DC-braking. Dynamic flux braking is available in all types.
