Summary

Product identification

  • Product Name: AmberChrom™ CG71M Chromatography Resin
  • Product Type: Macroporous polymeric resin for adsorption and reversed-phase liquid chromatography.

Description

AmberChrom™ CG71M is a macroporous, rigid, insoluble, aliphatic (acrylic ester) polymer designed for large-scale purification of proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, antibiotics, and small molecular weight pharmaceutical ingredients. It is suitable for front-end capture, downstream purification, and desalting applications.

Key features include:

  • Mechanically stable and chemically robust to standard reversed-phase solvents and cleaning agents.
  • Highly hydrophilic.
  • High surface area, unique pore size, and pore volume distribution, making it ideal for peptide separation.
  • Narrow, controlled particle size distribution enabling high flow rates and high process throughput.
  • High degree of chemical stability allowing operation across the entire pH range.
  • Cleaned in place (CIP) with most organic solvents and dilute acids and bases.
  • An alternative to RPC silica for high-resolution, low-pressure chromatography.

Applications

  • Separation of small peptides
  • Purification of aspartame

Disclaimer

This extraction may miss figures, footnotes, or revisions. Contractual data must match the OEM PDF revision used on the project.

WARNING: Oxidizing agents such as nitric acid attack organic ion exchange resins under certain conditions. This could lead to anything from slight resin degradation to a violent exothermic reaction (explosion). Before using strong oxidizing agents, consult sources knowledgeable in handling such materials.
