Suggested Operating Conditions

  • Simulated Moving Bed Operation: With optimized tuning (annually)
  • Note: Oxygen should be removed from feed streams and elution water to maximize resin life.

Hydraulic Characteristics

Estimated bed expansion as a function of backwash flowrate at 25°C (77°F) is shown in Figure 1. Estimated pressure drop as a function of service flowrate and viscosity is shown in Figure 2. Equations are provided to calculate flowrates for other temperatures.
