Summary

Product identification

  • Product Name: DuPont™ AmberLite™ CR7300 Resin
  • Type: Food Processing Grade, Gel, Strong Base Anion Resin
  • Primary Use: Organic Acid and Specialty Sugar Separations
  • Document: Product Data Sheet, Form No. 45-D03712-en, Rev. 3, November 2025

Description

DuPont™ AmberLite™ CR7300 resin is a strong base anion resin with a uniform particle size, manufactured for use in simulated moving bed (SMB) chromatographic systems. It is designed for the separation of carboxylic acids (mono- and dicarboxylic) and specialty sugars. The resin's particle size and rapid kinetics are intended to enhance separation performance and minimize product dilution, which is particularly beneficial for fractionating mono- and dicarboxylic acids from residual dextrose and other acids. The resin is typically converted to the sulfate form for improved ionic stability in these applications.

Applications

  • Organic acid chromatography
  • Purification of organic acids from dextrose and other carbohydrates
  • Chromatographic separation for specialty sugars
  • Specialty separations

(Refer to the DuPont Separability Advisor™ Bubble Chart, Form No. 45-D01069-en, for guidance on separating binary combinations of organic acids and impurities.)
