- It is strongly advised to remove oxygen from feed streams and elution water. Limiting oxygen concentration to less than 0.1 ppm (0.25 ppm maximum) will help maximize resin life.
Hydraulic Characteristics
- Data is provided for estimated bed expansion as a function of backwash flowrate at 25°C (77°F) (Figure 1).
- Estimated pressure drop data as a function of service flowrate and syrup concentration (42% HFCS) is shown in Figure 2.
- Thermal expansion data as a function of temperature and ionic form is shown in Figure 3.
Product Stewardship
DuPont is concerned with the safety, health, and environmental aspects of its products. Users are encouraged to review manufacturing processes and applications to ensure products are used as intended. Safety data sheets should be consulted prior to use.
WARNING: Oxidizing agents such as nitric acid can attack ion exchange resins, potentially leading to hazardous reactions. Consult knowledgeable sources before using strong oxidizing agents.
