Summary

Product identification

  • Product Name: AmberLite™ FPA66 UPS Ion Exchange Resin
  • Type: Uniform Particle Size, Macroporous, Weak Base Anion Resin
  • Manufacturer: DuPont

Description

AmberLite™ FPA66 UPS is a macroporous, weak base anion ion exchange resin with uniform particle size. It is designed for applications such as deashing sweeteners, removing acids from juice, and deashing/demineralizing fruit juices, other beverages, and food additives. The macroporous structure offers good mechanical strength and high operating capacity. Using this resin can potentially reduce operating costs, improve plant capacity, extend syrup run times, and decrease sweetwater production and rinse requirements.

Applications

  • Corn and starch sweetener deashing
  • Juice deacidification
  • Whey, gelatin, and glycerin deashing and decolorizing
