Description

AmberLite™ FPC14 Na is a gel, strong acid cation exchanger manufactured using a special, solvent-free process. It offers excellent physical, chemical, and thermal stability, along with good ion exchange kinetics and high exchange capacity. It is suitable for pharmaceutical and food applications, including saccharose thin juice decalcification and amino acid recovery.

Hydraulic Characteristics

  • Backwash Expansion (Figure 1): Dependent on backwash flowrate and temperature. For temperatures of 5 – 60°C (41 – 140°F).
  • Pressure Drop (Figure 2): Dependent on service flowrate and viscosity. Valid at the start of the service run with clean feed and a well-classified bed. For viscosities of 1 – 10 cP.
