Summary

Product identification

  • Product Name: AmberLite™ HPR2900 H Ion Exchange Resin
  • Type: Uniform Particle Size, Macroporous, Strong Acid Cation Exchange Resin
  • Manufacturer: DuPont
  • Previous Name: DOWEX MARATHON™ MSC H Ion Exchange Resin

Description

AmberLite™ HPR2900 H is a robust, high-quality ion exchange resin designed for industrial demineralization applications requiring exceptional physical stability, simple operation, and long resin life. Its high crosslinking offers excellent resistance to chemical oxidation, mechanical stress, thermal stress, and osmotic stress. The macroporous structure is optimized for kinetics. AmberLite™ HPR2900 Na is available for softening or demineralization when the sodium form is preferred.

Applications

  • Systems requiring exceptionally high osmotic stability
  • Demineralization of water with:
    • High oxidant levels
    • High temperatures on the cation resin
  • Amine-cycle condensate treatment

System Designs

  • Co-current
  • Counter-current / Hold-down
  • Packed beds
