Summary
Product identification
- Product Name: AmberLite™ HPR2900 Na Ion Exchange Resin
- Manufacturer: DuPont
- Product Type: Uniform Particle Size, Macroporous, Strong Acid Cation Exchange Resin
- Intended Use: Industrial Softening Applications
- Historical Reference: Previously sold as DOWEX MARATHON™ MSC Na Ion Exchange Resin.
Description
AmberLite™ HPR2900 Na is a high-quality resin designed for industrial softening applications requiring exceptional physical stability, simple operation, and long resin life. Its macroporous structure and high degree of crosslinking provide excellent resistance to chemical oxidation, mechanical stress, thermal stress, and osmotic stress. The resin is formulated for optimal kinetics and is recommended for:
- Hot process softeners
- Sodium-cycle or amine-cycle condensate treatment
- Systems with high oxidative potential or high temperatures
- Demineralization applications where the sodium form is preferred.
