Summary

Product identification

  • Product Name: AmberLite™ HPR4811 Cl Ion Exchange Resin
  • Type: Uniform Particle Size, Gel, Strong Base Anion Exchange Resin
  • Historical Reference: Previously sold as DOWEX™ MARATHON™ 11 Ion Exchange Resin

Description

AmberLite™ HPR4811 Cl is a high-quality ion exchange resin designed for industrial demineralization applications requiring high performance and cost-effective operation. It offers optimized chemical properties and particle size for excellent operating capacity, reduced regenerant and rinse water usage, fast kinetics, and good resistance to organic fouling, osmotic shock, and physical/chemical degradation. It can also be used as an organic scavenger in Cl⁻ form.

Applications

  • Demineralization
    • Treating water with high organic fouling potential.
    • Treating water with a high percentage of silica.
    • Removal of strong and weak acids.
    • Achieving the lowest silica leakage.
  • Scavenging

System Designs

  • Co-current
  • Counter-current / Hold-down
  • Packed beds
