Hydraulic Characteristics

Estimated bed expansion and pressure drop curves as a function of backwash flowrate and service flowrate, respectively, are provided in figures within the original document. These estimations are valid at the start of the service run with clean water and are shown for temperatures between 10 – 60°C (50 – 140°F).
