PDF datasheet mirror for AmberLite HPR9200 (DuPont). Verify with OEM before design.

Summary

Product identification

  • Product Name: AmberLite™ HPR9200 Cl Ion Exchange Resin
  • Type: Uniform Particle Size, Macroporous, Strong Base Anion Exchange Resin
  • Previous Name: DOWEX™ MARATHON™ MSA Ion Exchange Resin

Description

AmberLite™ HPR9200 Cl is a strong base anion exchange resin designed for industrial demineralization. It offers excellent physical stability, resistance to osmotic shock, and good resistance to organic fouling, making it suitable for treating water with high organic content and a high percentage of silica. Its light color aids in visual separation from cation resins in mixed bed applications. It is compatible with co-current, counter-current, hold-down, packed bed, and mixed bed system designs.

Applications

  • Demineralization, particularly for water with high organic fouling potential and high silica content.
  • Removal of strong and weak acids.
  • Achieving low silica leakage.
  • Mixed bed polishing.

Resin Pairings

  • AmberLite™ HPR1300 H Ion Exchange Resin (gel)
  • AmberLite™ HPR2800 H Ion Exchange Resin (macroporous)
