Hydraulic Characteristics

Figures are provided in the original document illustrating:

  • Figure 1: Backwash Expansion as a function of backwash flowrate and temperature (10 – 60°C / 50 – 140°F).
  • Figure 2: Pressure Drop as a function of service flowrate and temperature (10 – 60°C / 50 – 140°F).

These pressure drop expectations are valid at the start of the service run with clean water and a well-classified bed.

Product Stewardship

DuPont is concerned with the safety, health, and environmental aspects of its products throughout their lifecycle. Users are encouraged to review their processes and applications to ensure products are used as intended. Consult Safety Data Sheets before use.

WARNING: Oxidizing agents like nitric acid can attack ion exchange resins under certain conditions, potentially leading to reactions ranging from degradation to explosion. Consult knowledgeable sources before using strong oxidizing agents.
