Hydraulic Characteristics
Estimated bed expansion as a function of backwash flowrate and ionic form at 25°C (77°F) is shown in Figure 1 of the official PDF. Equations are provided to calculate necessary flowrate for desired bed expansion at other water temperatures.
Estimated pressure drop as a function of service flowrate at 20°C (68°F) is shown in Figure 2 of the official PDF. These expectations are valid at the start of the service run with clean water and a well-classified bed. Equations are provided to estimate pressure drop at other water temperatures.
Product Stewardship
DuPont is concerned with the safety, health, and environmental aspects of its products throughout their lifecycle. Consult product literature and Safety Data Sheets before use.
WARNING: Oxidizing agents such as nitric acid can attack organic ion exchange resins, potentially leading to degradation or violent exothermic reactions. Consult knowledgeable sources before using strong oxidizing agents.
