Summary

Product Identification

  • Product Name: AmberLite™ HPR9000 OH Ion Exchange Resin
  • Product Type: Uniform Particle Size, Macroporous, Strong Base Anion Exchange Resin
  • Manufacturer: DuPont
  • Previous Name: AMBERJET™ 9000 OH Ion Exchange Resin

Description

AmberLite™ HPR9000 OH is a premium-quality macroporous, strong base anion exchange resin designed for high purity applications, including nuclear condensate polishing and regenerable mixed beds. It offers exceptional resistance to fouling and stresses, leading to an extended resin lifetime. Its uniform particle size and visible color facilitate easy separation in mixed beds.

Applications

  • Condensate Treatment:
    • Mixed bed condensate polishing in nuclear and fossil power plants.
    • Condensate polishing for air-cooled condenser systems.
    • Start-up regenerable condensate polishing systems in nuclear power plants.
  • Demineralization:
    • Ideal for water with high organic fouling potential or high silica content.
    • Effective for the removal of strong and weak acids, aiming for the lowest silica leakage.
  • Polishing:
    • Mixed bed polishing in industrial demineralization.
    • Single bed industrial demineralization requiring high water purity.
    • Mixed beds demanding exceptional resistance to fouling, physical, osmotic, and oxidative stresses.

System Designs

  • Co-current
  • Counter-current / Hold-down
  • Packed beds
  • Mixed beds
