Pretreatment

  1. Salt Wash: Wash the resin in the column with deionized water at 2 – 3 BV/h until salt levels are sufficiently low.
  2. Solvent Equilibration:
    • Equilibrate with 8 BV of 100% organic solvent (acetonitrile, acetone, ethanol, propanol, or methanol) at a maximum flowrate of 2 BV/h.
    • Equilibrate with 5 BV of a 50% organic solvent/water solution at a maximum flowrate of 1 BV/h.
