Hydraulic Characteristics
Estimated bed expansion and pressure drop are provided in the official PDF (Figures 1 and 2 respectively) as a function of backwash flowrate and service flowrate, respectively, at a water temperature of 25°C (77°F). These pressure drop expectations are valid at the start of the service run with clean water.
