Summary
Product identification
AmberTec™ UP6040 H/OH Ion Exchange Resin is a semiconductor-grade, non-separable, uniform particle size, mixed bed ion exchange resin.
- Previous Name: AMBERJET™ UP6040 Ion Exchange Resin.
- Intended Use: Final polishing service in high-purity water treatment applications, specifically in non-regenerable final polishing mixed beds in ultrapure water systems for the semiconductor industry.
Description
This is a pre-mixed resin composed of an equivalent mixture of high-capacity, fully regenerated strong acid and strong base gel-type ion exchange resins on a 1:1 equivalent basis. It is designed to reduce resin separation during handling and ensure optimal performance in polishing vessels. The uniform particle size maximizes kinetic performance for high service flowrates.
AmberTec™ UP6040 H/OH is designed for non-regenerable applications and is not recommended for use in regenerable mixed bed applications.
