Lewatit® A 8071 is a strongly basic, gelular anion exchange resin (type I) based on an acrylic-divinylbenzene copolymer of special bead size distribution. It is particularly effective for the adsorption and desorption of naturally occurring organic substances.

Applications
Lewatit® A 8071 is especially suitable for:
- Demineralizing water for industrial steam generation using co- or counter-current systems (e.g., Lewatit® Liftbed System or Lewatit® Rinsebed System).
- The removal of organic matter, especially from surface water.
- Extending the lifetime of acid baths in the finishing industry (acid retardation process).
