Transport and Storage
- General conditions: Protect against weathering, store in a dry place, avoid extreme temperature fluctuations, avoid crushing granules.
- Opened packaging: Close bags after use to prevent moisture absorption and contamination.
- Shelf life: Recommended use within ten years of the date of manufacture. Warranty limited to this period, provided storage conditions are met and packaging is undamaged.
- Bags (Paper and PE): Shelf life of 5 years.
- Bulk bags: Shelf life of 3 years. Avoid UV-radiation; lifting loops stabilized for approx. 1000 h of Central European sun radiation.
Disposal of Waste Product
- Spent media is to be disposed of in approved landfills, observing local regulations. Operators should confirm local landfill tipping conditions. For disposal within the EC, use the appropriate European Waste Catalogue (EWC) code.
