PDF datasheet mirror for LEWATIT® CNP LF Na Ag (Lanxess LEWATIT). Verify with OEM before design.
Summary
Product identification
Lewatit® CNP LF Na is a food-grade, weakly acidic, macroporous cation exchange resin based on crosslinked polyacrylate. It is bead-shaped with a special bead size distribution.
Application
Lewatit® CNP LF Na is suitable for the decarbonisation and softening of drinking water in household filter systems, especially cartridges.

Storage and Handling
- Storability: max. 6 months
- Storability temperature range: -20 to 40 °C
- It is recommended to store ion exchange resins at temperatures above the freezing point of water, under roof, in dry conditions, and without exposure to direct sunlight.
- If resin becomes frozen, it should be left to thaw gradually at ambient temperature and not handled mechanically.
- Do not attempt to accelerate the thawing process.
- Strong oxidants (e.g., nitric acid) can cause violent reactions.
- Observe the safety data sheet for additional information.
