Summary
Product identification
Lewatit® MonoPlus TP 207 XL is a weakly acidic, macroporous cation exchange resin with chelating iminodiacetate groups. It is designed for the selective extraction of heavy metal cations from weakly acidic to weakly basic solutions.
The resin features:
- Monodispersed bead size distribution (uniform size)
- Enlarged bead size
- High mechanical and osmotic stability
- High kinetics for good capacity utilization
It is particularly suitable for:
- Concentration, extraction, and recovery of heavy metals from hydrometallurgical solutions, especially by Resin-in-Pulp processes.

Additional Information & Regulations
Safety precautions: Strong oxidants, e.g., nitric acid, can cause violent reactions with ion exchange resins. Consult the Safety Data Sheet for detailed information on product description, transport, storage, handling, safety, and ecology.
Disposal: In the European Community, ion exchange resins must be disposed of according to the European waste nomenclature.
Storage: It is recommended to store ion exchange resins above the freezing point of water, under roof, in dry conditions, and without direct sunlight. If the resin freezes, allow it to thaw gradually at ambient temperature before handling or use. Do not attempt to accelerate thawing.
