  • Use in Lewatit® WS system (fluidized bed).
  • Use in Lewatit® VWS system (compound fluidized bed).
  • Use in standard co-current regenerated systems.

Regulations and Compliance

  • Complies with current German legislation on food and food-contact uses.
  • Chemically in compliance with FDA regulations FCN 55.
  • Complies with European Resolution ResAP (2004)3 with regard to Total Organic Carbon (TOC) release according to AFNOR test T 90-601.

Safety and Handling

  • Avoid contact with strong oxidants like nitric acid, which can cause violent reactions.
  • Observe the safety data sheet for detailed information on transport, storage, handling, safety, and ecology.
  • Store ion exchange resins at temperatures above freezing point, under roof, in dry conditions, and out of direct sunlight.
  • If the resin becomes frozen, allow it to thaw gradually at ambient temperature before handling or use. Do not accelerate the thawing process.

Disposal

  • In the European Community, ion exchange resins must be disposed of according to the European waste nomenclature.
