Safety and handling
- Safety precautions: Strong oxidants, e.g. nitric acid, can cause violent reactions if they come into contact with ion exchange resins.
- Toxicity: The safety data sheet must be observed.
- Disposal: Ion exchange resins must be disposed of according to the European waste nomenclature within the European Community.
- Storage: Store under roof in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight, at temperatures above the freezing point of water. If resin becomes frozen, allow it to thaw gradually at ambient temperature before handling or use. Do not accelerate the thawing process.
- Packaging: Packaging stability is limited to 24 months under recommended storage conditions. Use the product within this timeframe, or check packaging condition regularly.
