Principal Applications

  • Demineralization - Industrial

Advantages

  • High operating capacity
  • Efficient regeneration
  • Exceptional physical stability
  • Good kinetic performance

Hydraulic Characteristics

Backwash

  • The resin bed should be expanded between 50% and 70% for at least 10 to 15 minutes during up-flow backwash.
  • Expansion frees particulate matter, removes bubbles and voids, and reclassifies resin particles.
  • Initial classification may require approximately 30 minutes of expansion.
  • Bed expansion increases with flow rate and decreases with influent fluid temperature.
  • Caution is required to prevent resin loss through the top of the vessel due to over-expansion.

Pressure Drop

  • Pressure drop depends on particle size distribution, bed depth, void volume, flow rate, and influent solution viscosity.
  • Factors like filtered particulate matter, abnormal resin compressibility, or incomplete bed classification can increase head loss.
  • Service flow rates can range from 10 to 40 BV/h, depending on influent water quality, application, and plant design.

Regulatory Approvals

  • IFANCA Halal Certified
  • LPPOM MUI Halal Certified

Typical Packaging

  • 1 ft³ Sack
  • 25 L Sack
  • 5 ft³ Drum (Fiber)
  • 1 m³ Supersack
  • 42 ft³ Supersack
  • Bulk Tanker (NA only)
