Summary
Product identification
PUROLITE® A510 is a Macroporous Type II Strong Base Anion Exchange Resin.
Application
Demineralization - Fluidized Beds & Continuous Systems.
Purolite A510 is designed for high operating capacity, particularly on high-FMA feedwaters, and offers high reversible sorptive capacity for complex organic materials like fulvic and humic acids. It provides silica removal comparable to premium type 2 resins in conventional deionizing plants, though a polishing mixed-bed is recommended for residual silica reduction. In its chloride form, it can remove organic color bodies from polluted waters and pharmaceutical/chemical streams, often requiring warm caustic soda or salt (35-50°C) for these applications.
