Feed water
Purolite PFC150S is a macroporous poly(styrene sulphonate) cation-exchange resin with excellent resistance to both osmotic and thermal shock. It has a specially tailored size grading which provides for economical regeneration and low pressure drop. Its sponge-like structure permits higher rates of diffusion of the often complex nitrogenous impurities taken up by strong acid cation resins during demineralization of aqueous solutions containing organics and facilitates their removal upon regeneration.
