Feed Water & Applications
- Intended Use: High-purity applications, potable water treatment, removal of contaminants such as nitrate, arsenate, chromate, uranium, and other salt form applications requiring potable water certification.
- Trace Contaminant Removal: Effective for Uranium (U), Chromium (Cr), Arsenate (As), Selenium (Se), Fluoride (F), Perchlorate (ClO₄), Chlorate (ClO₃). Particularly effective for Uranium, chromate, and perchlorate. Arsenate and selenate removal can be affected by sulfate displacement.
- Nitrate Removal: Can be used in the chloride cycle to reduce nitrates and sulfates, regenerated with sodium chloride brine. Use of softened water for brine dilution and displacement is recommended for high hardness feedwater to prevent scaling.
