AMBERLITE™ PWA8 Resin is an anion exchange resin designed for the removal of uranium from drinking water. It can also remove other anionic contaminants after cation exchange.

- Minimum level: 130% of ionic load
- Minimum contact time: 30 minutes
Commissioning and Limits of Use
- AMBERLITE PWA8 resin is suitable for potable water applications after an initial commissioning rinse of 20 BV (140 gal/ft³) of water at 25°C (75°F).
- Operating capacity depends on operating and feed water conditions.

Hydraulic Characteristics
Pressure drop and bed expansion data are provided in graphical form (Figures 1-4 in the original document). These figures show pressure drop as a function of flow rate and temperature, and bed expansion as a function of backwash flow rate and temperature.
