Summary

Product identification

  • Product Name: AMBERLYST A21
  • Type: Industrial Grade Weakly Basic Polymeric Resin
  • Form: Bead form
  • Ionic form as shipped: Free Base (FB)

AMBERLYST A21 is designed for the removal of acidic materials from product streams. It can be used for removing acidic materials from organic solvents and for removing phenol from benzene and inhibitors (hydroquinone (HQ), hydroquinone mono-ethyl ether (MEHQ), tertiary butyl catechol (TBC)) from monomers. It is also used in the adsorption of SO₂ from gas streams.
